Airbus Helicopters AS350

Objective:

This helicopter sustained major damage with an incident in Northern BC. The objective is to restore the helicopter to its original state with an update of the avionics and addition of a Skytrac sat phone and tracking system.

Scope:

The helicopter was a left hand drive and is being changed to a right hand drive. This involves a different instrument panel as well the reconfiguration of airframe wiring. We are removing the old original fuse panel and installing a Geneva switch and circuit breaker panel. A Skytrac satellite tracking and sat phone system is being installed and the engine is being changed.

 

Outcome:

This project was completed on schedule and was a very involved and included extensive integration. The Geneva Panel along with the Digital Artificial Horizon added a spectacular touch to this installation. With the new avionics package we were able to meet all of the customers needs and expectations. This helicopter is now flying, trouble free for many hours.
